Social Media Profiles of Characters from the Ancien Regime

Jueves, 27 Febrero, 2025

As part of the Geography and History subject, 4th-year ESO students have carried out an innovative and educational activity that has sparked their creativity and interest in history. The task consisted of creating social media profiles about characters from the Ancien Regime, such as Philip V, Charles III, Marie Antoinette, Louis XVI, Napoleon, and Robespierre, among others.

During this activity, students researched the lives and achievements of these historical figures, selecting the most significant episodes of their lives to feature in their profiles. They used images, symbols, and posts that these characters might have shared if they had access to social media in their time.

The results were surprising and very creative. For example, Marie Antoinette's profile included posts about her life at the court of Versailles, while Napoleon's highlighted his military victories and his coronation as emperor. The students demonstrated a great ability to summarize historical information and present it in an attractive and modern way.

This activity not only allowed students to learn in a different and fun way but also fostered teamwork and the use of digital tools. Undoubtedly, an enriching experience that has left a positive mark on their learning.

Congratulations to all the 4th-year ESO students for their excellent work and dedication!
